This climate-controlled warehouse will be the first of its kind at ANC, built to serve Alaska Cargo & Cold Storage (ACCS) and the broader global cargo market. With 200,000 square feet of specialized space and eight aircraft hardstands, the facility will help solidify ANC’s role as a global cargo hub and opens new pathways for perishable goods movement between Asia, Europe, and North America.

The building is designed for flexibility and efficiency, offering shared infrastructure for cargo carriers that don’t operate their own facilities. That model reduces costs while improving logistics for time-sensitive products like seafood and pharmaceuticals.

For Alaska, this project supports regional food security by reducing dependence on out-of-state cold storage and allows seafood processors to stage and ship directly from Anchorage.
