The Fort Wainwright Community Activity Center (CAC) is a vibrant multi-use facility designed to improve quality of life for service members and families. Located near the Post Exchange and surrounded by key base amenities, it serves as a year-round hub for recreation, dining, and wellness.

Under one roof, the building hosts bowling, gaming, indoor play, and casual dining. Key features include a 16-lane bowling alley with “Glo-bowling” lighting, a three-zone gaming area, indoor playground with adjacent parent fitness space, dining areas, party rooms, and an outdoor patio. Inside, a blend of exposed wood, distressed finishes, and raw materials creates a modern, relaxed atmosphere. A central gallery, lit by clerestory windows and full-height glazing, glows even during Alaska’s long winter nights.
