A new home for Seawolf Athletics and world-class facility for sports and entertainment! The dramatic curved roof of the Alaska Airlines Center covers a dynamic multi-use center with the flexibility to house events from a few hundred people, to a rocking, full house of 5,000. Its unique vertical design is unusual for an arena of this scale, putting spectators right on top of the action and amplifying the game-time experience.

A model of public/private partnership, this facility connects housing to the main campus and resolves difficult parking and traffic issues for the adjacent Providence Alaska Medical Center. The facility serves as both a pathway and a stepping stone, connecting campus to student housing.

Our firm collaborated with Hastings+Chivetta Architects on the planning and design of this project.
