Cutting edge technology at the center of the UAA Kenai Peninsula College campus. The signature process technology program has a new 2-story simulator and it is on display for all to see with this project. The technology center supports Alaska’s oil and gas industries and provides the campus with a landmark building that speaks to their dynamic future.
The facility includes labs, simulators, and classrooms focused on electronics, hydraulics, and industrial systems. Mechanical rooms are fully visible behind glass, reinforcing the concept that the building itself is a learning tool. Students don’t just move through the building, they learn from it.
This project redefined the Kenai Peninsula College campus. What was once a parking lot now acts as a connected learning environment.
