The Wasilla Police Department has seen tremendous growth over the last two decades and was bursting at the seams in their previous location. They needed more space to support their mission and a built-for-purpose facility to better serve the needs of the community.
The new Wasilla Police Station is just over twice as large. The glass fronted lobby serves as a beacon, welcoming the public into the station. It is separated from reception and working areas of the police station by secure, bulletproof security walls. Reception is located directly behind the security wall, and the space flows into a large patrol room.
