Brianna Strachan

Brianna’s path into accounting started behind a coffee counter in Fairbanks, where a local café needed help organizing its books. She took on the challenge and quickly discovered her love for problem-solving, precision, and bringing order to the chaos. What began as a side task soon became a calling, and a career built on curiosity, care, and community connection.

At Explore Design, Brianna approaches every spreadsheet like a design problem, looking for ways to make systems work better, both aesthetically and efficiently. She finds meaning in knowing her work supports something bigger: the projects that shape Alaskan communities.

Outside of work, Brianna gives back as a volunteer EMT and was honored as Ester Fire Department’s 2019 Member of the Year. When she’s not responding to calls, she’s likely watching classic sci-fi or delightfully bad horror films, her favorite escape after a day of balancing numbers and helping others. And every time she walks through the Anchorage Airport’s Concourse C, she smiles, remembering when it became the “pretty nice place to get stuck” that first inspired her pride in Alaskan design.
