For more than two decades, Chuck has been the go-to problem solver at Explore Design. His expertise keeps the firm running smoothly, fine-tuning software, troubleshooting systems, or finding smarter, more sustainable ways to work. Known for his curiosity and calm under pressure, he’s the person everyone calls when technology misbehaves, and the one who makes sure it ends up running better than before.

Chuck’s passion for sustainability extends beyond the office. A lifelong outdoorsman and hands-on learner, he’s fascinated by renewable energy and agricultural innovation. When he’s not optimizing systems at work, he’s tending his own peony farm or traveling to explore how others around the world are growing and living more sustainably.

Chuck jokes that his biggest achievement so far is staying alive. Rooted in his community, Chuck leads Boy Scout troops, coaches baseball, and volunteers with Alaska’s legendary Iditarod sled dog race. He says the best part of his job, and his life, is fixing what’s broken, lending a hand, and helping things grow stronger than they were before.
