Notable Projects

Sorry, we couldn't find any projects.

Emily brings both artistry and precision to her work as an architect. With more than a decade of experience, she thrives on the collaborative process, translating ideas into spaces that are functional, sustainable, and full of character. Emily’s curiosity about design started early, but it was in college that she discovered the beauty of teamwork and iteration in shaping the built environment.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Emily holds degrees from the University of Florida and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her career has taken her from the Southeast to Alaska, where she continues to expand her expertise in project management and mentorship.

When she’s not shaping spaces, Emily’s probably chasing her cats off her knitting yarn or testing her balance on roller skates. She draws creative energy from all around her, from the bold self-expression of the drag community to long walks that clear her head and spark new ideas. A born explorer with a Southern heart and Alaskan curiosity, she’s happiest when she’s learning something new.

Featured Project

This project holds a special place in Emily’s career as the first one she worked on from start to finish in Alaska. Designed to serve both as a cruise terminal and a community gathering space during the offseason, the project required thoughtful coordination among a wide range of stakeholders. Though based on a simple pre-engineered metal building, the design team found creative, cost-effective ways to elevate its presence through the use of color, material, texture, and consistent visual datums. Inside, a custom 88-by-22-foot art installation brings energy and identity to the space, tying together the project’s palette and its sense of place within the Seward community.
